Miss World Japan 2016, Priyanka Yoshikawa is now Brand Ambassador for Elephant Country

Balipara Foundation is pleased to present Eastern Himalayan Elephant Princess, Priyanka Yoshikawa, Miss World Japan 2016 as the Brand Ambassador of Elephant Country and Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark, global brands founded by the Foundation.  Priyanka, who is the youngest Elephant trainer to become Miss World Japan met with Mr. Ranjit Barthakur, Founder of Elephant Country at Taj Lands End in Mumbai, today.Balipara Foundation is pleased to present Princess of Elephants, Eastern Himalayas, Priyanka Yoshikawa, Miss World Japan 2016 as the Brand Ambassador of Elephant Country and Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark, global brands founded by the Foundation.  Priyanka, who is the youngest Elephant trainer to become Miss World Japan met with Mr. Ranjit Barthakur, Founder of Elephant Country at Taj Lands End in Mumbai, on 04th June 2017.

Priyanka (managed by La Ditta Limited - Japan and Maido Enterprises Private Limited- India) will be participating in the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics™ Forum to be held in Guwahati, Assam, India on 2nd & 3rd November ’17.  She will be travelling through Assam in November and promoting communities, environment and elephant conservation.

She is the compassionate and humble face of Young Japan and Young India and through her support to the cause, she hopes to foster Community Conservation and Eco-Elephant Tourism to bring India and Japan closer through this association and to present our cause through a global platform. Priyanka is a beauty with Purpose and is also promoting “Me for the World” charity savings bank box, an innovative concept that encourages children to save for themselves and give back to global communities.

Coming from a mixed background of Japanese and Indian descent, Priyanka is deeply rooted to her lineage and is looking forward to her visit to India to interact with role models of Elephant Country and Communities around the Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark, who nurture and restore the rich biodiversity of the Eastern Himalayas at the Ark.
